நல்லதோர் வீணை

சிறு வயது நண்பரான சுப்பிரமணியின் "நல்லதோர் வீணை" என்ற கவிதையை எழுதி எனது வலைபதிவை துவக்குகிறேன்...

நல்லதோர் வீணை செய்தே -அதை
நலங்கெடப் புழுதியில் எறிவதுண்டோ?
சொல்லடி, சிவசக்தி, -எனைச்
சுடர்மிகும் அறிவுடன் படைத்து விட்டாய்,
வல்லமை தாராயோ, -இந்த
மாநிலம் பயனுற வாழ்வதற்கோ?
சொல்லடி, சிவசக்தி! -நிலச்
சுமையென வாழ்ந்திடப் புரிகுவையோ?

விசையுறு பந்தினை போல் -உள்ளம்
வேண்டிய படிசெல்லும் உடல்கேட்டேன்,
நசையறு மனங்கேட்டேன் -நித்தம்
நவமெனச் சுடர்தரும் உயிர்கேட்டேன்,
தசையினை தீசுடினும் -சிவ
சக்தியை பாடும்நல் அகங்கேட்டேன்,
அசைவறு மதிகேட்டேன்; இவை
அருள்வதில் உனக்கேதுந் தடையுளதோ?

To view tamil Unicode fonts in windows XP system:

To enable tamil unicode font support in windows follow the instructions given below.

1. Go to control panel -> Regional and Language options.
2. Click on the languages tab
3. Enable the option "Install files for East Asian Languages" (Refer to image below)

You will be asked to insert Windows installation disk. Do that and restart the system.

You should now be able to view tamil unicode fonts.

For the sake of blogging...:(

I started out my first log like any other guy.....Hoping to scribble something often.........
Fortunately(for u)/ Unfortunately(for me) I have a bad memory something strikes my cerebellum, I think about writing it when I get back to nearest PC. But, before I grab the keyboard, I forget what I was intending to write and eventually end up writing something like this...........

Alright........ I guess I got what I was thinking....
Is it about the Narain karthikeyan........Or Is it about the Valentines day special food at Ahabite?????

oops! I let it off my mind as I typed the above words.....

Sorry for making u read the above and wasting ur precious(??) SURF time.
I assure u, the next time, I'll pen them down like Guy Pearce in Memento and get my cerebral sparks to u, real hot like Indian Samosa!!!

Destiny or jus' floating around?

Few things in few movies make me think for a little long while. Adding to the list is the following dialogue from Tom Hanks, in the movie "Forrest Gump".

"I don’t know if we each have a destiny, or if we’re all just floatin’ around, accidental-like, on a breeze. . .
But I think, maybe it’s both . . . Maybe it’s both happening at the same time "

I get surprised when I see/hear something, which has been running through my mind without concrete words expressed in a lucid way, just like the one above.

I am feeling gifted to watch the movie so late coz, had it been earlier; I would have dumped it as another boring one. Now that I get to watch some movies, more precisely, I get to notice the dialogues of these kind of movies, I am feeling like my mute inner philosophical world has begun to spit out words like a young child starting to speak.

The other day, a dialogue from Achilles boomed through my cranium and whipered something into my Frontal Lobe which inturn rang up a siren in my mute philosophical world. And let me get that in the next blog.
