Router-க்கும் Router-க்கும் கல்யாணம்

முதலில் ஒரு b Router வாங்கி, அது பத்தாமல் போய், பிறகு ஒரு g Router வாங்கிய திறமைசாலிகளில் நானும் ஒருவன். இப்பொழுது புதிதாய் புகுந்த வீட்டில் Router-ஐ எங்கு வைத்தாலும் எதாவது ஒரு இடத்தில் சிக்னல் மட்டமாய் இருந்தது.

காலையில் பல் துளக்குவதில் இருந்து இரவு தூங்கும் வரை சிம்ரன், ரம்பா, ஜோதிகா, த்ரிஷா, நமிதா, நயன்தாரா, அசின் போன்ற தமிழ் மங்கயரின் (இதுக்கு அப்புறம் வருவோம்) பாடல்களை காணும் என் போன்ற மக்களுக்கு இது கொஞ்சம் கஷ்ட்டம் தான்.

எனவே, எனது roomate (இவர் பிற்காலத்தில் பெரிய விஞ்ஞானி ஆவார் என நினைக்கிறேன்) கொடுத்த யோசனைப்படி, இரண்டு Router-களையும் இணைத்து சிக்னல் பலத்தை வீடு முழுவதும் விஸ்த்தரிப்பு செய்ய முடிவு செய்தோம். ஆனால் எவ்வளவோ முயற்சி செய்தும், எப்படி செய்வதென தெரியவில்லை.

Masters-ல் படித்த computer networks course-ஐ உபயோகித்தால் வேலைக்காகது என முடிவு செய்து, ஆபத்பாந்தவன், அனாத ரட்சகனான கூகிளை சரண் அடைந்தோம். "உலகினில் ஒன்று உன்டெனில் அது கூகிலிலும் உண்டு" என்ற திருளொள்ளுவரின் (நான் தானுங்கோவ்) புதுமொழிக்கேற்ப, வலைசரஸ்வதியும் (அட கூகில் தாங்க) விடையை சட்டென அளித்தாள். என்னை போல் தவிப்பவர்களுக்காக அதை இங்கே ஒட்டுகிறேன் (paste செய்கிறேன்).

Configure the IP address of the secondary router to be in the same subnet as the primary router, but out of the range of the DHCP server in the primary router. For instance DHCP server addresses 192.168.0.2 through 192.168.0.100, I'd assign the secondary router 192.168.0.254 as it's IP address.

Disable the DHCP server in the secondary router.

Setup the wireless section just the way you would if it was the primary router.

Connect from the primary router's LAN port to one of the LAN ports on the secondary router. If there is no uplink port and neither of the routers have auto-sensing ports, use a cross-over cable. Leave the WAN port unconnected!

மேலே தமிழ் மங்கயர் என குறிப்பிட்டதன் காரணம், தற்பொழுது தமிழ் திரைவுலகில் நடக்கும் கூத்துகளே (தங்கர்பச்சன் - குஷ்பூ லடாய்).

இருக்குது...இல்லை...இருக்குது

நண்பர் ஒருவர் அ(ன்பே) ஆ(ருயிரே) [B.F.] சூர்யா போல் "இருந்தது, ஆனா இப்ப இல்லை" என்று பாவமாக புலம்பிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார். "இவன் எப்பவும் இப்படி தான் புலம்புவான்" என்று விட்டுத்தல்லவும் முடியவில்லை. ஏன்னா, பார்ட்டி நாம காது கொடுத்து கேட்கிற வரை அழுது புலம்புவதை நிறுத்தாது. எனவே, "என்னப்பா விஷயம்?" என்று கேட்டேன். பார்ட்டி, இரவு தூங்கும் முன் ஒரு வலைபதிவை (blog) தொகுத்திருக்கிறார் (compose). ஆனால் அதை upload செய்யும் முன் கட்டையை சாய்த்திருக்கிறார் (அட முட்டாப்பயலே!).

விடிந்து எழுந்தவுடன் upload button-னை click செய்தால், இரவு எழுதிய அனைத்தும் தொலைந்து பொயிருக்கிறது. என்ன செய்தும் மீட்க முடியவில்லை. தனது பொன்னான சிந்தனை (???) தொலைந்த துக்கத்தில் Blogger-ஐ திட்டித் தீர்த்தார். "அட விட்டுத்தள்ளுப்பா!" என்று கூறியும் விடாமல் ஏதோ blogger Premium account வாங்கியவர் போல் விடாமல் கூச்சல் போட்டு ஒருவழியாக ஒய்ந்தார்.

இதற்கு விடை தான் என்ன என்று வலையில் துழாவியபோது இரண்டு விஷயங்கள் தெரிந்தது.

1) MS word-ல் பதிவை டைப் செய்து விட்டு, blogger-ல் upload செய்ய blogger for word என்ற tool உள்ளது என்பது ஒன்று.

2) சமீபத்தில், blog edit window-ல் "recover post" என்ற விஷயம் சேர்க்கப் பட்டுள்ளது.


இதையும் தாண்டி ஒருவரது வலைபதிவு தொல்லைந்து போனால் " கடவுள், நேயர்களை காத்துவிட்டார்" என்று தான் நினைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டியது தான்.

கோலிவுட்னா சும்மாவா?

கஜினி படத்தின் கதை Memento என்ற ஆங்கில படத்தின் அப்பட்ட தழுவல் என்பது பழைய செய்தி. புதிய செய்தி என்னவென்றால், புதுப்பேட்டை படத்தின் கதை சிட்டி ஆப் காட்ஸ் என்ற Brazilian படத்தின் தழுவல் என்பது தான். பொருத்திருந்து பார்ப்போம்.

ஒரு ஆறுதல் தரும் விஷயம் என்னவென்றால், நமது கோடம்பாக்கத்து மக்கள் தொடர்ந்து தெலுங்கு படங்களின் கதையை உருவுவதை விட்டு Hollywood படங்களின் கதையை உருவுகிறார்கள், ஒரு மாறுதலுக்காக!

பி.கு: இதற்கு முந்தய template மிகவும் அதிக அளவில் கிராபிக்ஸ் (Graphics) உபயோகித்ததால் சிலர் Loading problems இருப்பதாக தெரிவித்ததால் இந்த புதிய template பிறந்த்துள்ளது.

A walk worth it

A blog (infact photoblog) after a very long time. Photoblogs become very rare when u start to stop getting new batteries for your instrument(thats what I call my Vivitar 3610).

This is the picture of Walnut street bridge in Chattanooga, Tennesse. This is the world's longest pedestrian bridge. Erected in 1890, the Walnut Street Bridge was the first to connect Chattanooga's downtown with the North Shore. Structural modifications have been made to turn the bridge into what is now a pedestrian walkway. The 1/2-mile span is the longest pedestrian bridge in the world and very popular among local residents. It Provides spectacular views of Coolidge Park, the Tennessee Aquarium and the Riverfront.
